Cocciaretto dominated the early stages, winning the first 10 games and holding a 6-0, 3-0 (30-0) lead, with Putintseva only securing 5 out of 43 total points. Despite having a match point at 5-3 in the second set, Cocciaretto couldn’t secure the win. She also served for the match at 5-4 in the third set.
