The men’s sprint was the opening race of the fourth stage of the Biathlon World Cup, which got underway in Oberhof, Germany.
German biathlete Benedikt Doll won two straight sprints for the first time in his career. Edre Stroemsheim took third place, and Sturla Laegreid, a Norwegian, took second.
