Skiing sensation Aleksander Aamodt Kilde was airlifted from the course following a severe fall in the Lauberhorn World Cup downhill race. Reports indicate that the athlete sustained a right leg injury.

Emergency personnel provided substantial aid as he lay near the finish line, securing his right leg above the knee. A helicopter touched down in the finish area to swiftly transport Kilde to the hospital.

This marks the second incident in two days at Wengen where a former World Cup skiing champion has been airlifted from the renowned Swiss ski slope.
