Biathlon World Cup 2023/2024: Event Schedule and Results

The Biathlon World Cup’s fourth stage in Oberhof, Germany, concluded with sprints, pursuit races, and classic relays on the final day. Subsequently, athletes will continue in Germany for the fifth stage in Ruhpolding, starting on January 10th, featuring similar race formats, beginning with a relay.

The Biathlon World Cup, commencing on November 25th in Oestersund, Sweden, consists of nine stages leading to the World Championships. Following Oestersund, athletes competed in Hochfilzen, Austria, and now Oberhof in January. The circuit proceeds to stages in Ruhpolding, Germany, and Antholz-Anterselva, Italy. A customary break in February accommodates the World Championships in Nove Mesto na Morave, Czech Republic.

The final stages are set for Holmenkollen, Norway, Salt Lake City, USA, and Canmore, Canada, with the ultimate race scheduled for March 17th.

This season marks the 47th of the Biathlon World Cup for men and the 42nd for women.

The men’s and women’s champions from the previous season’s Biathlon World Cup, Johannes Thingnes Boe of Norway and Julia Simon of France will be defending their crowns.
