Norway keeps staking its claim to supremacy. The men’s relay results in Ruhpolding
In the German enclave of Ruhpolding, the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup for the 2023-24 season unfolded on Thursday, January 11, featuring the relay event among national teams.
The highly sought-after gold medals were clinched by the Norwegian contingent, who completed the course in an impressive time of 1:09:49.6 hours. Despite encountering eight missed shots at the firing lines, their performance remained unparalleled. Following closely behind, the German team secured the second position, trailing the Norwegians by a mere 45 seconds and incurring two penalty laps. Completing the trio of leaders were the Italians, who, despite ten missed shots, found themselves 58.7 seconds behind the victors.
The Norwegian team’s dominance persists in relay competitions at the Biathlon World Cup stages, having emerged victorious in all such races in the current season.
