Paris Saint-Germain secured a 2-0 victory over Toulouse to claim the Trophee des Champions, with Kylian Mbappe scoring a magnificent goal and Lee Kang-in also finding the net.

PSG quickly took the lead in less than three minutes at the Parc des Princes. After a brilliant team move, Lee converted Ousmane Dembele’s volleyed cross with style.

While Toulouse struggled to advance beyond their half, they managed occasional threats, even hitting the post through Thijs Dallinga, introducing a small sense of jeopardy for PSG.

That was before Mbappe practically ended play right before halftime. After winning possession of the ball 25 yards out, he dribbled past three players, deflected another, and finished superbly past the goalkeeper.

Toulouse was superior in the second half, but they were unable to convert it into a goal. PSG was happy to try to control the match, and Achraf Hakimi came dangerously close to adding a third when he struck the crossbar with a long-range free kick.

Paris Saint-Germain hopes that this trophy will be the first of many that the squad wins this season. It marks their record 12th Trophee des Champions triumph. The Parisians lead Ligue 1 by five points and will face Real Sociedad in the UEFA Champions League last 16 on Sunday.
