Amidst speculations of a potential move to Chelsea, Victor Osimhen expressed his desire to play in the English Premier League. However, the Nigerian striker emphasized that he currently has different career plans, stating in a conversation with Sky Sports:

“Of course, I would like to play in the Premier League at some point, but now I have different career plans. When the time comes, you will know everything.”

Osimhen recently extended his contract with Napoli until the summer of 2026. In the current season, he has scored eight goals in 18 matches for Napoli, contributing significantly to the team’s success. Napoli acquired Osimhen from the French club Lille for 75 million euros in September 2020, and he is valued at 110 million euros by Transfermarkt. The Nigerian striker’s impressive performances have drawn comparisons to Chelsea legend Didier Drogba by former Arsenal and Manchester City forward Emmanuel Adebayor.
