Denmark International Simon Kjaer to Depart AC Milan at Season’s End

AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer (35) will part ways with the Serie A club after the current season, he announced on Tuesday.

The Denmark captain joined AC Milan in January 2020 on loan from Spanish club Sevilla before making the move permanent later that same season.

In a video posted on Milan’s social media platform X, Kjaer confirmed his departure and hinted that he would decide his next career move after the upcoming European Championship.

Kjaer has made 120 appearances for AC Milan and was part of the squad that won the Serie A title in 2022. However, he has faced significant injury challenges this season.
