Bayern is getting closer to acquiring the PSG defender Mukiele

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) versatile defender Nordi Mukiele, renowned for his ability to play in both right flank and center positions, is on the verge of making a winter transfer to Bayern Munich.

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs are close to finalizing a loan deal for the 26-year-old Frenchman that would last until the conclusion of the current season. Mukiele himself is enthusiastic about the prospect of joining Bayern Munich.

Previously, Bayern Munich’s Sporting Director, Christian Freund, affirmed the club’s interest in acquiring Mukiele.

Having previously played in the German Bundesliga for RB Leipzig from 2018 to 2022, Mukiele brings valuable experience to the potential move. In the ongoing season, he has featured in only 10 matches for PSG across all competitions, contributing with one assist.

It’s noteworthy that Bayern Munich has already secured the services of English centre-back Eric Dier from Tottenham earlier in this winter transfer window.
