Nicholas Pooran’s late cameo, comprising 23 runs, provided the finishing touches as Lucknow secured a comprehensive victory, affirming their credentials in the tournament.
Reflecting on Chennai’s performance, Gaikwad acknowledged, “We lost wickets regularly and were 10-15 short… Good to play them again soon, will come back with homework done,” highlighting the team’s resolve to rectify their shortcomings and bounce back stronger in subsequent encounters.
