An important match. The potential opponent for the winner of the Fury-Usyk showdown has been disclosed
Promoter Frank Warren has indicated that the winner of the heavyweight title clash between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usyk might have the opportunity to face the victor of the Anthony Joshua-Francis Ngannou bout.
This statement has been corroborated by Prince Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, which is actively involved in organizing major boxing events in Saudi Arabia.
Turki Alalshikh expressed, “The result of the match on February 17 will likely influence the outcome of the subsequent bout – that’s our perspective.”
The Fury-Usyk bout is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on February 17. The Ukrainian holds the IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO super heavyweight titles, while the British boxer possesses the WBC belt, all of which will be on the line.
The Joshua-Ngannou showdown is set for March 8, and notably, their contract does not include a rematch clause.
