“I will knock out Joshua,” Francis Ngannou confidently states regarding the upcoming fight with Anthony
Francis Ngannou recently shared his thoughts on his upcoming fight against Anthony Joshua, as reported by BoxingScene. Ngannou emphasized that his bout against Tyson Fury was his first in the boxing world, highlighting that he is still growing and developing as a newcomer in the sport.
Expressing confidence, Ngannou stated that he believes he will likely knock out Anthony Joshua. He compared Joshua to Fury, noting that while both are strong fighters, he sees Joshua as easier to beat than Fury. Ngannou elaborated that Joshua is easier to knock down than Tyson Fury but harder to recover against.
It was initially mentioned that the Joshua-Ngannou fight would take place on March 8, but official details are yet to be confirmed. Representatives of the fighters are expected to hold a press conference in London to announce the official date. Ngannou’s last match was against Tyson Fury in October, where he lost by split decision despite knocking Fury down in the third round. Joshua’s most recent fight was against Otto Wallin in the previous month, which he won by technical knockout in the fifth round.
