On Friday, January 19, the second races of the sixth stage of the World Cup took place in Antholz, Italy.

In the women’s individual race, Switzerland’s Lena Haecki-Gross claimed the top spot, completing the distance in 36:49.0 minutes with a flawless performance. The second position was secured by French athlete Julia Simon, who finished 20.2 seconds behind with two misses in comparison to the first place. Rounding out the top three was another French biathlete, Lou Jeanmonneau, finishing 31.4 seconds behind Haecki-Gross with a single shooting error.

Furthermore, Germany’s Vanessa Foigt secured a position in the top six, alongside two Norwegian biathletes, Juni Arnekleiv, and Karolin Knotten.
