Ronald Powell was a highly sought-after high school player from Southern California and ranked among the top national recruits in the 2010 class. He chose to sign with the University of Florida, where he played under then-coach Urban Meyer.
During his three seasons with the Florida Gators, Powell showcased his talent by recording 18.5 tackles for loss, including 11 sacks. Unfortunately, he faced a setback in 2012 when he missed the entire season due to an ACL tear sustained during the spring. Despite the injury, Powell’s contributions and skills on the field marked him as a standout player during his college football career.
