Third Round FA Cup 2023–2024: schedule and outcomes
The FA Cup, the world’s oldest football competition, is now in its third round. At this point, the English Premier League teams—the clear favorites to win the competition—join the fray.
It is important to remember that Manchester City is the FA Cup’s current holder. Only four different teams have taken home the title in the last seven years; only Arsenal and Man City have triumphed twice in this span.
It is important to note that the FA Cup matches follow an odd format by long-standing customs. The match winner advances to the following round. In the event of a draw, however, the rival teams will already have a replay on the opposing team’s field.
