Liverpool is actively seeking a long-term replacement for Salah within Belgian talent
Liverpool is making preparations for the potential departure of their star player, Mohamed Salah, who garnered interest from Saudi club Al Ittihad during the summer. According to reports from the Daily Mail, the Merseyside club is keeping a close eye on the development of 19-year-old prospect Bilal El Khannouss from Genk. There is a belief within the club that, in the future, El Khannouss could step into Salah’s shoes and serve as a replacement for the Egyptian forward.
Aside from Liverpool, Atlético Madrid, Bayer, and RB Leipzig are closely monitoring the progress of Bilal El Khannouss. At just 19 years old, El Khannouss is recognized as one of Africa’s most promising football talents. He has already represented the Moroccan national team three times. Playing for Genk, he has showcased his skills with 3 goals and 5 assists in 34 matches across various competitions.
Liverpool is also paying attention to another emerging talent, Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras.
