Despite Tunisia needing a victory more urgently, Mali showcased a stronger performance in the second half. The Eagles made multiple attempts to score against the Reds but were unsuccessful. Consequently, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
With four points after two rounds, Mali is positioned well in the tournament. In the upcoming final round of the group stage, Mali will face Namibia. On the other hand, Tunisia, holding one point, will conclude their group stage matches with a showdown against South Africa.
