Gauff has not dropped a set as she moves on to the fourth round of the Australian Open
American tennis player Coco Gauff continues to display a confident performance at the opening Grand Slam of 2024. In her third consecutive match, the 19-year-old has yet to drop a game to her opponents.
Facing the 82nd-ranked player in the WTA, Alycia Parks of the United States, the match lasted just an hour. Gauff dominated in two sets, allowing her opponent to secure only two games out of fourteen. Impressively, Gauff capitalized on 100 percent of her break points (5/5), while Parks failed to reach any break points and accumulated 34 unforced errors—four times more than Gauff in today’s match.
Coco Gauff is set to face Magdalena Frech of Poland in the upcoming round. It’s worth noting that the 19-year-old Gauff, the reigning US Open champion, has advanced to at least the fourth round in Melbourne.
The match between Alycia Parks and Coco Gauff concluded with a score of 0:6, 2:6 in favor of Gauff.
