In the NBA, Denver’s leader broke yet another record
As reported by the Si website, Denver Nuggets’ leader, Nikola Jokic, has made NBA history.
In the regular-season matchup between Denver and Indiana, where the Nuggets secured a 117-109 victory, Jokic scored 25 points. The Serbian basketball standout also recorded 12 rebounds, nine assists, two steals, and one block in his 33 minutes on the court. This remarkable performance makes Jokic the first player in NBA history to achieve a stat line of 25 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block with a shooting accuracy of at least 90%.
It’s noteworthy that while Wilt Chamberlain had three games in his career where he scored at least 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists with 90% or higher accuracy, blocks and steals were not recorded during his time. Therefore, Wilt does not qualify for this specific achievement.
