Vlahovic’s Early Goal Secures Juventus’ 15th Coppa Italia Title

Juventus clinched their 15th Coppa Italia title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Atalanta, courtesy of an early strike by Dusan Vlahovic.

The Bianconeri, renowned for their Coppa Italia dominance, wasted no time asserting their dominance in the final. Just four minutes into the game, Andrea Cambiaso delivered a precise pass to Vlahovic, who displayed strength and composure to evade Isak Hien’s challenge and calmly slot the ball past Marco Carnesecchi.

The Juventus faithful erupted with joy at the Stadio Olimpico, hoping their team would maintain the momentum throughout the match.

However, Atalanta proved to be a formidable opponent, refusing to concede easily. In the 12th minute, Mario Pasalic seized on a loose pass from Samuel Iling Junior, only to be denied by Mattia Perin. Later, Charles de Ketelaere attempted a long-range shot but failed to find the target.

At halftime, De Ketelaere made way for El Bilal Toure, who made an immediate impact by setting up Ademola Lookman for a powerful long-range shot that narrowly missed the mark.

Tensions rose in the second half when Berat Djimsiti continued to play despite Iling Junior being down with a potential head injury. Despite the controversy, Atalanta nearly equalized as Teun Koopmeiners’ header narrowly missed the target.

Although Juventus thought they had sealed the victory with Vlahovic’s header, the semi-automated offside system disallowed it. Atalanta’s hopes suffered another blow when Marten De Roon limped off the field due to injury.
