The team’s leader in Toronto is about to go
Toronto might soon part ways with its primary star. According to insider Chris Haynes from Bleacher Report, there are indications that Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam is close to departing from the team.
“People I’ve talked to, executives, they all believe Pascal and Toronto are on the verge of parting ways. Philadelphia and Indiana are the main teams to watch,” Haynes stated.
Simultaneously, a representative from a leading Western Conference team suggested that the destination might be unexpected, pointing to teams like the Chicago Bulls.
It’s worth noting that the 29-year-old Siakam has participated in 38 games this season, with an average of 22.3 points and 6.3 rebounds. Currently, Toronto holds the 12th position in its conference. Their upcoming game is against Boston at home on the night of January 16.
