The Philadelphia Flyers secured a 3-2 shootout victory against the Montreal Canadiens. Owen Tippett and Morgan Frost each notched a goal in regulation, while Samuel Ersson made a crucial save in the decisive shootout to seal the win for the hosts.

Sean Couturier scored the lone goal for the Flyers in the shootout, adding to their success. Jamie Drysdale, recently acquired from the Ducks in a trade involving Cutter Gauthier, contributed with his first assist since joining Philadelphia.
