Surprising development: Bayern Munich joins pursuit of Genoa player
Bayern Munich is reportedly in the race to sign central defender Radu Dragusin from Genoa, with journalist Fabrizio Romano sharing that the German club has submitted an offer. The offer is said to be slightly higher than Tottenham’s proposal, which consisted of €25 million plus €5 million in bonuses. Unlike Tottenham’s offer, Bayern Munich’s proposal does not include any players in exchange.
Tottenham is said to be confident about reaching a personal agreement with the player, but the final decision now lies with Radu Dragusin. Tottenham’s offer also included the loan of their right-back Jedd Spence to Genoa, a 23-year-old Englishman who recently returned from a loan spell at Leeds.
Radu Dragusin, a 21-year-old Romanian center-back, spent the previous season on loan at Genoa from Juventus and was permanently acquired by the club for €5.5 million in the summer. The situation is still unfolding, and it remains to be seen which club the defender will choose amid the competing offers from Bayern Munich and Tottenham.
