Brazil try to win the unprecedented title of the Women’s Volleyball World Cup

2022 Women’s Volleyball World Cup

This year’s championship will be the 19th edition of the Mundial, which will run from September 23 to October 15, in Dutch and Polish cities. The dispute has six venues, three in Holland and the other three in Poland, in seven gymnasiums in total.

They are: Serbia, Netherlands, Poland, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, United States, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand , Kazakhstan, Cameroon and Kenya.

The selections are divided into four keys, with six teams each. The top four teams in the groups qualify for the second stage. Later, two new groups will be formed, this time with eight participants each. The four countries on each side that have the best campaigns will go to the final phase.

The final phase is nothing more than the quarterfinals. The winners face each other in the form of crossing, in the semifinals, as it happens in the Olympic Games. Whoever loses, still plays the dispute for third place.

What is the history of the Brazilian National Team in the World Cup?

Certainly, coach Zé Roberto and his athletes will play with blood in their eyes and with a huge desire to be champions. It is important to mention that the Brazilian Volleyball Team was runner-up on three other occasions throughout history.

The title is choked. The defeats happened in 1994, to Cuba, in 2006, to Russia, and in 2010, when the Russians again won consecutively.
